Kookaburra Nickel 6.4 Ultimate Cricket Bat 2026
As a long established cricket bats and equipment specialist retailer we believe it is well worth considering buying a Kookaburra cricket bat for its quality craftsmanship, wide range of options and performance-enhancing features. Kookaburra bats are known for their large sweet spots and edges, powerful profiles and balanced weight, providing great performance value for both the big shots and all round stroke play. Kookaburra cricket bats offer a variety of designs and bat profiles, from traditional models to modern, lightweight bats for different playing styles.
Kookaburra cricket bats are 100% hand made recognising the uniqueness of every piece of willow and utilising the experience that their cricket bat makers possess in manufacture to give every bat its own unique treatment, fine tuning the shaping and the pressing, to ensure that the pick-up is unparalleled and ball striking performance maximised to the full. All this gives you plenty of reasons to make Kookaburra your number 1 choice for the new cricket season.
Kookaburra Nickel cricket bats are hand crafted to provide a typically ‘full profile’ shape in a lighter weight specification. The Nickel offers performance and power with minimal scalloping to the back of the blade
The Nickel 6.4 Ultimate Grade (Pro Shield Face with Natural back) blades have significant staining and cosmetic marks which make it impractical for them to be sold as a ‘natural face ’ bat; however, these marks have no impact on the performance of the bat, and as such it perfectly possible to get an excellent ‘driving’ bat from this grade. To cover these blemishes, Kookaburra developed their ‘Pro Shield’ cover which is a durable lightweight Anti-scuff type material with the grain of a cricket bat sublimated on to the face. This allows Players who have limited budgets to own a bat that looks cosmetically attractive
