The deep bow and full, domed back lead to the sharp Venom* toe giving strength and weight to the lower driving area, yet the concave sanding maintains the crucial pick up. This bat drives the ball beautifully but is wonderfully balanced. It is traditional and modern fused a classic, almost convex back with contemporary, angled face and edges. To achieve an easy pick-up with this amount of wood behind the entire width and length of the driving area requires absolute skill and hand shaping, but creates the strongest and most stable shape in play. * the Venom, first made by us in 1993, was known for its unique triangular toe.
